The main aim of the Ambassador Programme is to represent and promote Noah’s Ark at various community events in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. Your help would really make a difference in helping us raise awareness and funds. It is hoped that volunteers can commit to supporting in this role for a minimum of 12 months, but this can be flexible.

We hope to provide you with the opportunity to build connections with the local community, to develop public speaking skills and to organise effective presentations to deliver to an audience.

Opportunity: Double Exposure Volunteer

If you are a creative person who wants to help make a difference in the community then this is the project for you! This project is open to anyone who would like to volunteer short-term or long-term and it does not require having any specific skills. We are looking for people who are passionate about making a change as we believe as young people, our voice and actions can be extremely powerful.

Opportunity: Social Media Volunteer

Use your social media skills to make a difference to millions of peoples’ lives by volunteering for Good News Shared, an online media platform promoting the work and impact of charities around the world. If you have experience of using Facebook and Twitter, and you are an optimistic, upbeat person, we are looking for you! We are looking for someone to create positive, uplifting content for our Twitter and Facebook pages to attract new readers and keep our current supporters engaged. By attracting more readers we will be telling more people about the great stuff happening in the world and the opportunities that are available to them. This is a flexible role that you can do from home at times that suit you. The aim of the role is to promote Good News Shared and engage with our supporters via social media.

Changemaker Volunteer


The beauty of this role is that you can make it whatever you want it to be! You want to use your initiative and gain skills. We can offer project and event management training. You get real stuff to put on your CV (and we can help you to make your CV look fabulous) through helping us to raise money. Love parties’ Organise one to remember. Great British Bake Off aspirant? Pilot your latest creation through an amazing bake-sale. Love music? Put on a concert.

Opportunity: Publicity Volunteer

Our Publicity Volunteers work on the area of publicity that they’re most interested. That could be digital (social media, web design, blogging), physical events (running cross-university publicity campaigns), or designing materials. The purpose of the role is to create publicity materials or campaigns that enhance the service we are able to provide and increase awareness to the students who can contact us.

Opportunity: Museum Assistant Volunteer

The Museum of Brands is a popular friendly museum of consumer culture located in West London. Our volunteer Museum Assistants help us to run the museum on a day-to-day basis, providing a warm welcome to our customers and playing an essential part in our activities. Volunteers will be museum ambassadors for this exciting, lively, and engaging museum.

We recently hosted a group of UCL students as part of the Volunteering Service’s November 2019 Social Hackathons - we’d love to invite UCL students to come back to join us as regular volunteers at the museum.

We believe that every young person should have a place they can go to feel safe, included and inspired. We provide a comprehensive programme of activities that meet the needs of local children and young people. As a youth work volunteer, you would be contributing towards this vision.

Opportunity: Ramblers London Press and Radio volunteer

London has a host of media, both local and London-wide, including Time Out and The Standard, BBC Radio London, Capital and local radio stations. Ramblers and walking are not widely featured in any of this media at the moment.

The purpose of this volunteer role is to try and place walking and Ramblers content in some of these publications/ on some of these programmes - be it news items about walking festivals such as the Ramblers’ annual Festival of Winter Walks, people-focused stories about the benefits of walking to health / mental health, pieces about the great places to walk London has to offer, or engaging in the debate around improving the lot of pedestrians through the letters’ pages.

Other Ramblers volunteers will be on hand to support you with news, expertise and ideas from the 25 groups across London and campaigning activity. The London Press and radio volunteer will have the autonomy and flexibility to pursue what interests them about walking and Ramblers in London.
