Opportunity: Hive Volunteer

Hi everyone! Welcome to HIVE!

We are a student-led volunteering project that aims to promote awareness and knowledge of HIV through education and raise money to help people with HIV.

What we are doing right now:
Go to secondary schools to share information about how the virus is transmitted and it impacts people’s life.
Make and sell cookies to raise money to help those with HIV.
Hold events and activities at UCL campus to reduce stigma towards those with HIV and educate the general public about self-protection.
To be continued…

Opportunity: UCL Sexpression Volunteer

Volunteers of Sexpression: UCL will visit secondary schools in London and deliver Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) to the students. If you could get in touch with us within January 2020, you will also have an opportunity to apply to become one of the committee members (a few positions including Training Officer, Social Media Officer and Treasury are open).

As a volunteer, you will improve your skills and knowledge of communication, public speech, teaching, leadership (if you become an Activity Leader), as well as those of sex and relationships.

Through participating in our activities on campus, you will be making difference in terms of better accessibility of condoms and STI/HIV/pregnancy checks, better recognition/acceptance of LGBTQ+ community, and many more.

Opportunity: Fundraising, Outreach and Events Volunteers

Join a dynamic and multi-skilled team to help increase the funds for ELOP and support more LGBT young people, adults, families and older people in need at a time it’s most needed.
