You can be a part of our unrivalled cheer squad supporting our runners, cyclists and walkers as they take on a range of exciting and challenging events. We will provide full guidance and support as you carry out a volunteer role with us.

* Assist in the well-being of the children who use the project

Opportunity: Park Champion Customer and Mobility Service Volunteer

We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly and enjoy talking to people of all ages and backgrounds to help us deliver visitor services on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We want volunteers to help us to articulate the Park story, the excitement it offers and what there is to do. Volunteers will need to be a proud ambassador of the Park, keen to work as part of a diverse (and sometimes hectic!) team, and eager to learn about this vibrant and ever-changing place. This role also involves helping visitors with a mobility or visual impairment ensuring they can access all the Park has to offer.

Our Mission: Greenhouse Sports aims to develop Social, Thinking, Emotional and Physical skills for young people in London’s most disadvantaged communities through outstanding, intensive sports programmes delivered by inspirational coaches.
How you can help: You will work alongside one of our Head Coaches to help provide extra support to the young people on our programme. As a volunteer you’ll have the opportunity to be the person who makes basketball enjoyable and accessible for these young people.

Help someone to keep active in their own home by volunteering to deliver a series of chair based exercises and/or walking support. Help us to help an older person to stay active by improving their strength mobility and confidence.

Volunteering at UP aims to provide children with emotional and behavioural difficulties access to a positive, supportive adult role model. Volunteers help children to identify their skills and talents and give them a chance to reach their potential. Volunteers offer children new experiences and a chance for them to have fun!
