To provide a befriending service for children in the Camden area who have mental and physical disabilities and to provide them with opportunities that they may otherwise not have access to. This also enables parents to have a small amount of respite, so it is for the benefit of the children, parents, and you as volunteers!

You will be supporting in our weekly Adult Service (30+) which is a resource for support, information, encouragement and change. Sant* supports refugees and asylum seekers who have social care/ health issues. Befrienders will help people to link to services, rebuild confidence, overcome practical problems such as language barriers, and better understand UK culture.Training & support will be provided.

Volunteer befrienders offer social contact to people with memory loss and/or a diagnosis of dementia. People living with memory loss/dementia can become very isolated and begin to lose touch with friends and family. Support and companionship from a volunteer can greatly improve their health and emotional well-being!
