Stock Room Volunteer


Working behind the scenes is as important as being on stage! As a Stock Room Volunteer, your key role will be to make sure that quality stock is made ready to go on sale in the store.

Our volunteers come from a diverse range of backgrounds and bring a wide variety of skills to the organisation. They come together to generate vital funds for Barnardo’s work with children, young people and their families. Come join us!

Assisting in our Charity Shop


Helping out in our shop could be a great way to get a welcome break from studies and exams, while at the same time knowing that your time is contributing towards raising funds to help deliver services to older people in the borough of Camden. A particular interest in books, film, antiques or clothes could help with us getting best prices for our donations.

Opportunity: Volunteer Retail Assistant

This is a customer service role encompassing all areas of retail. You will be part of the fundraising team, raising funds to support the work of the Cardinal Hume Centre. Last year sales from the Charity Shop raised £47,000!

Charity Information Desk Volunteer

Develop skills including communication and organisation whilst raising funds and awareness for St Mark’s Hospital, a leading specialist bowel disease hospital in Harrow. Interact with patients and staff whilst manning our information desk, raising awareness of the Foundation and what we do, and selling our merchandise!

Shop volunteer


We are looking for partnerships with university in order to support our project. We would be very honored if you would agree to a partnership with our association. Indeed, we believe that the image of your university would be beneficial for our association. Association is another place to acquire skills. We think, students can develop and change our environment. To involve students now, will allow to resolve socials and environment issues of tomorrow.

Opportunity: Retail Assistant

Our charity shops are essential for raising funds which can be used to support Noah’s Ark families. Volunteers are vital in helping to sort donated goods, restock the shop floor and serve customers. We are always interested to hear from volunteers who are able to commit to doing a minimum of 1 shift a week (4 hours) on a regular basis. We would also LOVE to hear from you if you are able to offer more than 1 shift a week. So if you have a few hours to spare each week, enjoy working with the public and love being surrounded by clothes, books and toys then come and support us and help to raise funds for Noah’s Ark!

Senior Shop Volunteer


Looking for experience in a retail environment?

Our busy and successful shop on Camden Road sells entirely donated goods whose profits provide important income for Mind in Camden. It is not part of a national chain and all the income goes to Mind in Camden.

We are looking for a Senior Volunteer to help run the shop and to take responsibility when the manager is absent.
