Term 2 Challenges

We understand the disappointment at another term away from representing #TeamUCL. But to help motivate you all in your swapping of the pitch for the pavement, we’re launching a number of exciting remote challenges. Wednesday afternoon was, and still is, about pulling on your #TeamUCL kit, and chasing that winning feeling. The first “challenge” is in a league format, and will pit Clubs against one another week-by-week.

Each week, your members’ activity will equate to “points” for your Club. At the end of the week, the Club with the most points will “Win” and be given 5 points. The losing team will receive 1 point for being within 40 points of the winner, 2 points for being within 30 points of the winner, and 3 points for being within 20 points of the winner.

This time, points will be awarded Tuesday – Friday for distance travelled (km), and over Saturday and Sunday, the target will be elevation gained (m). Points will be awarded for the following, with double points awarded for Wednesday activity:

The sports we have on offer in either league or day-event formats are: Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball, Cricket and Mixed Hockey.
