I will achieve this by working with the Union’s HR department to ensure the organisation’s People Plan incorporates student staff, as well as working with the Unions Board of Trustees to review the organisation’s approach to outsourced workers.

Update 17/11/20

Initial meetings with the HR manager discussing how student staff can be included within the People Plan with more progress to be made later in the year. I have begun conversations about how the Board of Trustees should consider the SU’s approach to outsourcing going forward with more progress to make later in the year
