5-a-side Football Leagues 

Project Active leagues are a great social way to play sport without the training or trials. Played in a weekly tournament format, they’re open to all UCL students so get together with housemates, course mates, society members or just a group of friends and get involved!

Entry fee: £95 per team (for a team of 6 that’s just £3 per person per week!)
This covers the cost of facility hire and referees.

FAQ

What does my entry fee cover?

Project Active leagues are subsidised: your team entry fee goes towards facility hire.

How many players do I need?

You need to field at least 5 players each week, they do not have to be the same individuals every week. 
BUT they do need to be current UCL Students or staff!
New participants will need to complete a Participation Registration Form before they can play.
Rolling substitutions are allowed

Who can play in these leagues?

Leagues are mixed gender and open to all current UCL students over the age of 18 and UCL staff.

What surface are fixtures played on?

All pitches are outdoors, played on either 3G or Astro Turf, all players will need appropriate footwear- no metal blades or studs.

Are referees provided?

Yes, each match will be officiated.

Do we need to bring our own ball?

Ball and bibs  are provided each week. if you’d like shin pads please email in a request.

What happens if I can’t field a team?

If you don’t have enough players, the match will be forfeited to your opposition and your team will lose 3 league points.
