Events

If you are looking for a way of making your business stand out from the crowd, event sponsorship is one of the best ways to do it.  With an engaged audience, the Union’s marketing support and plenty of room for innovative campaigns, sponsoring one of our events is the best way to get yourself in front of UCL’s students.  Of course, we understand that when it comes to event sponsorship, it is important to find an event that is compatible with your brand and your campaign goals.  With that in mind, here is a break down of the Students’ Union UCL events that anyone who is anyone will be seen at!

Freshers’ Ball - October

The Freshers’ Ball is the culmination of the Welcome Festival and has been a sell out event for the last 6 years.  As students leave the warm glow of the Freshers’ bubble, make sure it’s your brand that is in their minds.

The London Varsity Series - March

The Varsity Series is an absolute must for sports fans with a week of sports matches between 12 of Students’ Union UCL and Kings’ best sports teams.  A healthy rivalry between the two institutions makes for compelling sports viewing for students from both universities and the biggest event of the year. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact us or take a look at our packages as soon as possible.

Sponsorship opportunities vary for each event, but with options from £500 and great value packages from £3000 there is something for every budget.

Clubs and Societies

Clubs and Societies are at the heart of student life a Students’ Union UCL. With over 250 student groups, there really is something for everyone. It also means that it is easy for you to target the interest groups of your choice.

Our Clubs and Societies are funded by a grant from Students’ Union UCL. However, with over 250 of the student groups, most seek external funding to keep the cost down for their members. Many of our Clubs and Societies have between 100 and 500 members, with considerably more students signing up to their mailing lists. There is no more sincere or effective way of coming into the student consciousness than enabling them to pursue their passions and interests. Each group negotiates the terms of their own sponsorship deal and successful partnerships have been established with graduate recruiters, local businesses and many more.

If you think that sponsoring a Club or Society might be of interest to you, take a look at some of our successful partnerships and the groups who are currently seeking sponsorship on our dedicated page.
