Be responsible for oversight of the Union's finances. 2. Ensure the Union's commercial and membership services provisions adequately meet the needs of members. 3. Ensure adequate use of the Union's spaces, being the lead Officer on Union space. 4. Ensure all of the Union's financial activity and service provision is ethically and environmentally sound. 5. Be the lead Officer on HR matters. 6. Drive forward implementation of the Union's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. 7. Liaise with Liberation Section Convenors to ensure that the Union's services are run in an accessible and ethical way. 8. Be a Sabbatical Trustee of the Union. To: The Ethics, Environment and Operations Officer will: 1. Be the lead representative officer on and have oversight of the Union's environmental and ethical responsibilities, finances, services, spaces, and Human Resources. 2. Ensure the Union's services and spaces adequately meet the needs of members while ensuring the Union operates to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards. 3. Be responsible for ensuring that the Union's financial activity, service provision, spaces, and human resources are ethically and environmentally sound. 4. Promote Members' engagement with ethical and environmental issues and campaigns both on campus and in the wider community. 5. Be responsible for representation and campaigns in relation to any of UCL's policies and practices that are relevant to environmental and ethical issues, or that may affect the Union's finances, services, spaces, and Human Resources. 6. Liaise with Liberation Section Conveners to ensure that the Union's services are run in an accessible and ethical way. 7. Be a Sabbatical Trustee of the Union.
