Wellbeing of Women Intern

We are looking for an intern to join Wellbeing of Women, a dynamic well-established charity funding medical research to find cures, treatments and preventions in women’s reproductive health and childbirth. Many of the treatments taken for granted in health care today came about thanks to research we have funded over the last 54 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn all about the charity sector whilst helping to improve the lives of women and their babies.

The Role

You will work across Fundraising, Communications and Research, supporting the teams to deliver fundraising campaigns, events and social media.  You will also work with our Head of Research, getting involved in the day-to-day running of our various research funding schemes and ensuring best practice in our research management process.

As you will have direct contact with many of our supporters and beneficiaries along with their families, it is imperative that you are able to communicate clearly and confidently with both internal and external stakeholders in both written and verbally.

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who is organised and able to prioritise.  You must have a keen eye for detail and excellent writing skills and good understanding of social media.  Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills are a must for this role where you will be given plenty of responsibility once trained in specific tasks.
