Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service exists to connect UCL students with volunteering opportunities within London and to support students who want to run their own community projects. Managed by the Volunteering Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll work as part of a team on an ad hoc basis to promote the Volunteering Service ahead of and during our events.

The Welcome period is an important time for the Service, with lots of events taking place and marketing being circulated. Promotional Assistants are essential in making this an efficient and enjoyable process for all. Working as part of a team of Promotional Assistants, the role is busiest in Term One 2019-20, with employment lasting through to June 2020.

The role will involve helping setting up volunteering fairs and events, staffing Volunteering Service stalls at events, distributing publicity on campus (either on our poster run or flyer spots), directing students, assisting exhibitors and event attendees, and packing down our fairs and events.  You’ll also be expected to represent the Volunteering Service as a stallholder at specific internal events.

You must be a current UCL student (or will be from September 2019) to apply for this position.

Training/Interviews  will be held on Thursday 12th September OR Tuesday 17th September – please state in your application what date you are free.
