Humanising Risk: How I accidentally ended up in Behavioural Science

How does someone who has studied French and German literature end up working in Behavioural Science?  And what does BeSci have to do with Ethics and Compliance?

In this talk, Christian Hunt, the founder of Human Risk and author of 'Humanizing Rules', this year's Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists Book Of The Year Award, will talk about how he accidentally ended up working in BeSci.

You'll hear how his frustration with a problem he faced as a Risk & Compliance Officer at the Swiss bank UBS, led him to think creatively about his role and how he became Managing Director Head of BeSci, a role that was specifically created for him.

Christian will also share the realities of his day job; what is working for a 'company of one' like? What does a typical day look like and how does he sell BeSci to a sector that might not immediately see the benefits?
