Ever wondered why the Northern line is called the 'Northern' line? Come along to find out, and travel part of the route proposed in the 1930s for a now-forgotten extension to the line.

We will gather at Euston Square, before heading to Moorgate to start our journey. From there, a train to Finsbury Park along a section of track that used to run as the Northern line, and the fun really begins. We'll then walk along the disused track-bed that has been transformed to an urban greenway, all the way to Highgate, passing through abandoned platforms and stations. After a quick tube journey to Mill Hill East, and a bus to Edgware, our tour will be complete!
