UCL Accommodation for the 2025-2026 Academic Year is now open!

Key Information:

  • Accommodation for the 2025-2026 Academic Year is open to applicants who have firmly accepted an offer to study at UCL.

  • Accommodation is allocated in order of when applications are received to eligible applicants based on your room preferences, maximum weekly rent, and subject to availability.

  • Accommodation offers will be sent out by email to eligible applicants from April to the end of August 2025. Not all allocations are generated at once, so we kindly ask you to bear with us and be patient.

  • Complete the application form for your preferred accommodation, taking into account room type and budget.

  • Due to high demand, your offer may not exactly match your preferences, but we will strive to offer the best possible accommodation based on availability.

  • Undergraduate students should apply for Undergraduate 2025-2026 (39 weeks). This term session runs from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Saturday 20 June 2026.

  • Postgraduate students should apply for Postgraduate 2025-2026 (51 weeks). This term session runs from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Saturday 12 September 2026.

  • Affiliate students (including pre-sessional course applicants and Postgraduate Affiliates) should apply for Affiliate 2025-2026 (39 weeks). This term session runs from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Saturday 20 June 2026.

  • Affiliates students (including Postgraduate Affiliates) should apply for Affiliate 2025-2026 (Term 1). This term session runs from Saturday 20 September 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026.

UCL Accommodation for the 2024-2025 Academic Year remains open to all full-time UCL students. You can submit an application for 2024-2025 academic year to join our waiting list. If we can match your room preference, budget and our availability, you'll receive an offer within 2 working days.

If you have received an offer of accommodation, our Portal will allow you to respond to your offer and request a different arrival date. Before you arrive you'll also be able to book a time to check in to your hall and complete your mandatory pre-arrival induction.
