Friends Trust Term 3 Applications Welcomed

We have been working with the Friends Trust and are delighted to announce another opportunity for Clubs and Societies to apply for funding.

The Friends Trust recognises the central role that Clubs and Societies play in creating positive experiences, helping build relationships  and supporting students through challenges. In these unprecedented times, this is more important than ever.

In order to help activity to continue remotely, we are welcoming bids of up to £500 from Clubs and Societies, and are particularly keen to support initiatives that keep communities connected while groups are unable to meet face to face.

There is no set deadline you can apply any time until the fund run

Bids will be reviewed as they come in and we will let you know as soon as a decision is reached

How to Apply

The UCL Friend’s Trust awards grants to students, societies, clubs and UCL student lead projects that make a real difference to students at UCL. Whether that be new equipment, an amazing new initiative or an amazing one off activity. 

Both recognised Students’ Union UCL Clubs & Societies and individual UCL students may apply for this grant; if the former, please ensure that it is the Treasurer of the Club/Society who submits this document (‘Name’ in Section One).

All applications must be submitted on the attached application form to su.activities-reception@ucl.ac.uk 

Please note that in order for your application form to be accepted then you MUST attach a detailed budget for events, and/or quotes for one-off purchases. Applications that do not include budgets or quotes will be automatically rejected. Ensure budgets include any contribution from the club/society CLEARLY. Information on how to create a budget can be found here.
