Hi,
I have been in the writer’s society for a little more than six months now and I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and the spirit of this “family”. This year, I want to be more involved and I want to be a part of what that makes this society so unique. I don’t have the skills required to be a president or a chair of prose. However, when I saw the description for the publicity manager, I knew that I could be of help. I am creative, at ease with social medias and I have always been organised. I think I could really help the growth of the online community with more numerous and a wider variety of Instagram posts. I would also like to create more involvement form the community with surveys and maybe games.
I would be delighted to take care of the newsletter to deliver relevant information and an encouragement for the coming week. The newsletter is something I really am looking forward to every week.
I hope that together we will make this society grow and keep this wonderful safe space for all aspiring writers.
I am running for publicity manager because of the unbound creative space that it has to offer. I have designed a good share of our Instagram and Facebook posts this year alongside bigger projects like “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Writers’ Society” and the “Guide to Writers’ Society Committee Elections”. (In addition, I have made promotional photos for our notebooks.) I have a good understanding of how to use various editing apps and I often find myself in need of a creative outlet, which is why I believe I will do well in this position. On a final note, I will just say that I am a quick learner and can see myself adapting to other tasks like newsletter writing and website management with no difficulty.
