Sanjana Panicker
Hi! I'm Sanjana Panicker, a first year Management Science student and an aspiring entrepreneur/lawyer; and I'm running for Head of Events at WinF.

As a person, I'm an extrovert, organised and work well under pressure. Prior to joining UCL, I've been the Head Girl at my school in Dubai and have held several other leadership positions at other clubs such as Toastmasters Intl., Basketball school team etc. Leadership roles not only push me to perform more holistically but also allows me to make a positive change in other's lives and the system through my skills. My social skills further make me an ideal candidate.

Studying management currently and having held posts before, WinF is the perfect place for me to use my knowledge and skills. More so, having a finance background, will allow me to manage and organise events directly benefiting members. As head of events, I'll ensure to originate, plan, promote and execute events aligning with the society's vision. This includes liaising with external speakers, providing exclusive mentorship schemes and career events and finally, great socials! I've been part of several event committees in school, held the post of 'Head of Events' at a charity organisation and have a good social media presence from past experience which will further aid me in this role.

Thank you for reading my manifesto and I hope y'all will give me a chance to prove my abilities. Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn or Instagram @sanjanapanicker anytime!
Anda-Raluca Epure
As a Mathematics and Economics student, I understand the importance of staying connected to the current issues and trying to anticipate their impact in the future. I believe that, as members of a society, we want to feel part of its community and share its values with the world. Communicative, creative and always opened to new ideas, I enjoy problem-solving activities , but also working with the others in order to achieve a higher goal. Therefore, as Head of Events, I will ensure that all the past initiatives of the society can still take place, virtually or face-to-face, if possible, and I would also look for other creative ways of conducting events given the current situation. I would be ready to start new initiatives and organize our team in order to succeed. Always easy to approach, I will be looking forward to hearing what the members would need and want, in order to shape the events according to their liking. I believe that I will be able to help the society and its members achieve their goals, my making sure that, during the events, they will have the best experience possible. Finally, I hope that we will grow together, both professionally and personally.

Hello everyone!
My main wish to be the Events Officer is because I want to help the society with organising events and give students an opportunity to engage even more. I already have an experience as a Vice-president of Events of Finance & Investment Club society at my previous place of study, I was on that position for 2 years. The most important thing for me was that I had an opportunity to organise events, find speakers and sponsors for the society and all the events helped students to find their career path and understand what they want to do. The most vital thing in this role is to look for exciting speakers and events, so it will be interesting for students to be a part of the society.
I always had a desire to find the most interesting and the most engaging opportunities for students, these were not only events, but also different trainings and activities.
I hope to be chosen for this position again and help students with any issues they have and organise the best events!
Thank you for your time!
