I would like to serve as the next president of the Urban Farmers Society to bring the farm back to life after a year of COVID-19. I have served as Welfare Officer this year, and have worked closely with the president to organize online events as well as to organize groups to go to the farm. Next year, I would like to increase member participation in the crops that we grow, since we will actually (hopefully) be able to go to the farm in person! I also plan on increasing our relationship with existing London Urban Farms by organizing visiting and volunteering days where we can learn hands-on how these farms grow their food.
I'm incredibly invested in the future of Bentham's Farm, and I would love to orchestrate its growth as president, to help make it a fruitful farm once again!
