When you first stepped foot into UCLUNA (or in this economy, joined your first zoom call), what’s the first thing you were excited about? Was it boring sessions where you’re struggling to stay awake, or one where you could learn new skills, practice public speaking in a safe space, and even make new friends? My idea of an ideal UCLUNA is one where members come together in sessions to bond and grow as a society.

If elected as your Vice-President of MUN, this will be my main focus for training sessions.

Unique: conducting fresh and interactive sessions, where members are able to learn and have fun at the same time
Noteworthy: on the point trainings with important information, as well as compiled notes sent out each session containing tips and tricks that will aid you in your development as a delegate and a member
Accessible: ensuring that sessions are accessible to members of all backgrounds and levels of experience, along with catering to members interests and needs

With experience as your First Year Representative in UCLUNA, as well as Secretary of MUN, Vice-Chairperson of Drama, Student Councillor in high school, my journey has always been one of guidance, passing on the torch to the next generation. Even now, I continue to strive to break barriers when tutoring, and I know my calling is in education. Hence I hope that you will give me the chance to be your Vice-President of MUN, so I can continue to fulfil my promise of never giving UNA up.

My name is Haroon Nasir and I am running to be the Vice-President of MUN!

I am a delegate at LIMUN 2021, Europe's largest University-level MUN conference. Through this, I hope to gain insights and apply them to make UCL UNA a more efficient and inclusive society.
