RUMS Tennis has been a huge part of my university experience so far. I have made friends, actually improved at hitting balls and had a good time along the way. I love the inclusivity of this club and that is something I am very keen to push forward next year.
This past year has been tough for us all, not least due to the fact that we have all been kept apart for so long. I hope next year to bring back RUMS Tennis with a vengeance.
Throughout the last 3 years I have made good links with members of this club and think this puts me in a good position to take on board what people want from the club in the next year and implement this.
I hope to use the Union's Club Development Plan to reach the next level of Club Development awards by way of socials focusing on sustainability and charity events. This will lead to benefits for the club, vital given the difficult financial situation being experienced due to the pandemic.
Links with other clubs in RUMS and UCL more widely is a really great way meet new people and collaborate on joint sporting and social events. During my time on committee this year we organised various charitable events, one in collaboration with UCL Tennis, and the club has raised money for great causes like Black Minds Matter UK and NHS charities. I'm keen to continue the club collaboration this year.
I would really enjoy the opportunity to lead this club that has been such a huge part of uni life, and hopefully give the same experience back to others.

Hi, I'm a fourth (4th) year. I joined RUMS Tennis this year so you probably haven't heard of me.
Reasons to vote for me:
- I've attended all live sessions this year (all two or three of them).
- I've never played tennis before (except in the live sessions), so I wont be wasting my precious presidential time on games or matches.
- Ex-prefect for 6th-form AND 4th decile in 1st year (already more qualified than current president)

Reasons why I want to be president:
- A position of leadership, which will count for points in my surgical portfolio
- I love doing menial, laborous work like organising playing fields, making people pay for membership and posting on facebook
- Power complex over.

Something special I will bring to the club
- Ex-Rums rugby member, no doubt will cause tension in Mullys (when they re-open)
- A promise to have a 30-minute deep and invasive chat with every member of the club
- Scream at every fresher to join RUMS tennis next year.

Thank you for considering me as President.
