Anna Rankin
Growing up, I have really learnt to appreciate the social side of tennis and how it is really a sport which encourages people to come together. Whilst it doesn't usually fall below a team sport category, I find it very difficult to imagine it as an individual sport since has always appeared to be an extremely social activity. Whilst this past year has encouraged a lot people to live as true individuals, I really feel that as we begin to integrate again that it is important to find an activity which increases both physical and mental wellbeing. As communications secretary, my primary aim would be to promote tennis as a fun, light-hearted activity which ensures a good feeling in players of all levels. This would also be the driving force of any advertisements on and off social media.

Communications are a vital part of any club in ensuring membership engagement and enjoyment of Club events and activities. As Communications secretary, I would endeavour to ensure the clear communication between committee and members in order to make next year the best (and most fun) it can be. I am organised and would make sure that communications were posted with pleanty of time, and would ensure communications are clear. I have been a member of the UCL Tennis Club for the last two years, and have always liked the atmosphere and organisation of the club. As communications officer, I would endeavour to ensure the continued clear organisation of communications with members.
