Hello, my name is Isobel! I am a 2nd year medical student, hopefully doing an integrated bachelors next year in Global Health. I come from an Eastern, Jewish background, with my family being directly affected by the pogroms. I believe I have a unique opportunity to promote peace between the Arabs and the Jews, campaigning for justice for those who have been forgotten whilst fighting against antisemitism at UCL. As President of UCL FOP, I will call out injustice on both sides, and help to facilitate conversation and alliance.
I would aim to:
1. continue educating students on Palestinian history and culture
2. encourage collaboration with Jewish society, organising socials and mixed events
3. facilitate travel to Palestine for members of FOP
