Hola mis panas!
The Spanish and Latin American Society has been a very strong support system throughout my first two years at UCL. It allowed me to meet so many incredible people that I decided I wanted to join the committee in order to be able to ensure every new first year would get the same amazing experience I did. Due to the pandemic, and even though we really did everything in our power to provide a joyful experience to every member, I have been left with the feeling that I can still do a lot more for this society and for the Hispanic community in UCL. And this is why I decided to run for treasurer. I can assure all of you if that I get elected you can expect a wide range of activities.
From padel tournaments, pub quiz nights, football nights, fun nights out (Lafiesta will be back soon), cultural activities, and a lot more.
I would really put a lot of effort into making this society a meeting point for every new student, no matter their interests.
