Better. Faster. Stronger.

When doing something I care about, I want to make it better. Luckily, my leadership roles have given me the teamwork, communication and forward-thinking needed to achieve this goal. I am excited to take on the role of Vice-President of the Shaolin Club and to enrich our Shaolin Kungfu family.

Having witnessed the tightly-knit and committed alumni community, I want to continue the tradition of fostering strong bonds amongst our family. Not only do I want to continue the Friday and Monday self-run sessions, I also want us to have more social events, both formally and informally. Movie nights and game nights are two ways to bring us together while we are still online, and when the club can meet in person, there will be many more activities we can do together (both exercise-related and for fun!).

The Shaolin Community is also a global community, and I want us to be able to learn from the other Temples overseas in addition to each other. Additionally, another aim I have as VP is to deepen our understanding of the rich history and culture that Shaolin is immersed in. I want us to develop a holistic understanding about the Shaolin tradition and also aim to bring us together even more.

In this short note, I hope I showed you that I have the commitment and interest to run this club, and look forward to seeing your vote!
