I believe the time has come to make RUMS Rugby Great Again. With COVID ruining our fun for the past 12 months, thanks to vaccines and all the NHS heroes, including those in our club, we can finally have fun again. Having put my feelers out to international high rollers, I believe an international 7's tour, Munich-esque, to be on the cards (vaccine dependent). Under my leadership as well I can personally guarantee no outsourcing of stash and am busy working on a trade deal with some of the biggest and best manufacturers in the game. Alongside a return to sports night, curries, UH and all else that we have been yearning for this year, I think it's going to be a great time to be a member of our club.

Hello everyone,

I hope you will vote for me to be your RUMS Rugby President for next year.

Being Boars Captain in 2nd year, and Treasurer this year, I've had plenty of experience in committee positions within the club and I believe this is the right time for me to step up to be President.

Having the financial burdens of COVID-19 to contend with this year, I can only imagine them becoming more difficult for next year (unless Sunas helps the boys out with subsidised pints). I am incredibly keen to guide the club back to normal proceedings, and hopefully, by September this will be the case. Let’s face it, I’m not sure Ron is up to the job.

Every day, the third term of this year is looking more and more exciting. Looking forward to next year, a return to playing rugby in BUCS and UH, tour and of course, Mullys, would be a top priority. On top of this, we have lots of exciting prospects regarding sponsorship, kit, old-boys and socials in the pipeline, and I am looking forward to ensuring these go ahead.

Fingers crossed I’ll have a better year than Liam was landed with.

Thank you.
