Ya-Hsuan Wang
Being a first-year student studying Economics and Statistics, I would like to devote myself to the UCL Retail and Luxury Business society as a Treasurer.

Being an account manager at Uber enterprise, I was allowed to utilise my business analysis skill with the well-presented communication strategies when serving as a project leader in the onshore project in Taiwan.

As a product development specialist in TransferHelper, I have experienced multiple tasks when simulating the MVP model of our financial product aiming at optimising the transferring process in terms of the international migrants' realms.

Serving as a finance part-time associate at Beiersdorf (NIVEA), I am able to penetrate into the core of financial analysis and therefore fully utilise my data-analysis skill.

Furthermore, I am currently serving as the treasurer of the UK Taiwanese society. Overall, I am keen to communicate with teammates and enjoy the sense of accomplishment when completing the tasks with the team. I am able to maintain the sustainability of the budget but meanwhile trying to innovate with the practical new pathways of earnings.

My numerical and detail-oriented skills obtained from the previous experience have equipped me for being competent for this role.I would like to commit to the society using my professional knowledge. If you also want to take a leap, please vote for me.
Eirini Mavrantonaki
Hello! My name is Irene and I am a 2nd-year Chemistry and Management student. I have been a member of RLBS for one year and I have been interested in the content created, but also the widespread opportunities it gives its members. Having worked with amazing people (virtually) over the past year made me want to be even more involved with the RLBS community and apply for the Treasurer role.

I have held multiple volunteer positions as Treasurer over the past four years and have completed accounting online programs, in which I mastered financial skills that could be useful for the role. In other treasurer positions, I have been given responsibilities of raising funds, sorting out the economic aspects of events, and keeping records of accounts. I would use my organizational skills to bring monthly reports and cooperate with the other members of the committee on possible events that we could cover by communicating with speakers. Being involved with L.Cuppini startup as a marketing intern could open doors for our reaching out to potential guest lecturers. I enjoy multi-tasking and paying attention to detail and it would be my pleasure to help as a treasurer in the RLBS society.

I joined the RLBS in October of 2020 as their Deputy Marketing Officer. I was instantly given responsibility and started designing material, while I really enjoyed the support and the feedback of the committee's members. Even though the circumstances did not allow me to meet the committee in person, I have managed to feel a part of it. Most of the members of the existing committee will be graduating, so I feel that I should try to preserve the committee's style and encourage the next president to be as active as the previous one. Hence, I think that I will quite easily handle the main tasks that a treasurer is required to take on, but I will also support the new president, which will be especially important if they are a new committee member. Overall, the RLBS is a society that I strongly feel part of and I hope to help preserve and develop it.
