What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
- Seeking funding opportunities for research students
- Maintaining contact with the Union on changes and developments within the faculty with regard to the research needs of the students
- In conjunction with the Union, examining SSCC feedback to spot trends across the faculty

Most recent academic achievements:
- University College London Overseas Research Scholarship for the PhD programme in Cognitive Neuroscience
- Research grant (€ 25000) from Leiden University Fund and Gratama Foundation for a project in Genetics of Cognitive Neuroscience
- Induction into Leiden University Hall of Fame

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
I want to be the voice of research students at UCL and fix the issues that affect research students progress, including mental health issues. The type of support research students require during a pandemic differs as the majority are working from home.
- I want to keep students connected and engaged with the community.
- I want to improve the PGTA experiences by having feedback forums.
- Besides creating a healthy research environment, I am intending to create a research student mentorship program that allows former students to support and encourage new students.
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
- I am an effective communicator, as I can deliver peoples ideas in a constructed form.
- I enjoy thinking outside of the box; therefore, I try to develop creative solutions for traditional problems.
- I have been a PGTA for several courses, and I believe in the need for a research student mentorship program.
- I am very determinate, dedicated and enthusiast about making change and enhancing people's experiences through connecting people together.
- I want to help international students adapt by creating an optimistic and positive environment that will make them feel welcomed.

- I am open to new ideas that can help improve research students experiences.
- I am happy to gather feedback to reshape the goals to better satisfy research students need.
- I would like to host meetings with research students on monthly bases in order to listen to suggestions.
