I would make an excellent treasurer by combining my love for the club and for Excel spreadsheets together. Having already been in a treasurer role, I am well prepared to deal with the union and am clued into what the role entails. I’m keen to step into this role and maintain and build upon the smooth sailing of previous years. I am reliable and efficient in my work, and truly economical with my finances which will lend me well to the role. Having been 2s captain, I am well aware of committee dynamics and would really enjoy being the president’s next of kin. I like to think I’m very good at dampening fires and keen to make the president's life that much easier. My primary aim for this role would be to utilise our finances and massage them as best as I can so that we as a club make up for this last year inside and have the best possible year. New year, new season, and post-quarantine definitely calls for a kit haul and I can’t wait to help get this in motion. I also want to use our resources to promote and ensure equality throughout the club alongside our inclusivity officer and enhance our outreach within the community.

Hi everyone! I’ve been in RUMS Netball for 3 years now and have loved being a part of it so much, I’ve made great friends here and had some of the best uni moments with netball gals. I’ve been part of committee twice now and I’ve really learned a lot about the club, how it runs and what’s important to all of you. I’m organised and have stayed on top of my roles well, which I think would make me good fit for being treasurer. After loving being your social sec this year I would be excited to learn more about the financial side of the club and take on a more central role in committee. Most of all though I’m passionate about the club and want to make sure we come out of this crazy year strong and can make next year a good one!

Hi, my name is Kimmy, I’m currently in third year and I’m excited to be running for Treasurer for next year. I am running for this role as I would love to become more involved and take on more responsibility within the club, while contributing ideas and support to help make our club the best in RUMS!

Although this year isn’t the one any of us had planned, I had enjoyed my role as 4s Captain and have learnt a lot from the experience, such as how committee runs and the work required from every role at general meetings. I believe my organisation, love of spreadsheets and communicative skills will ensure I am able to meet the goals and deadlines required of me as your treasurer. I enjoy working as part of a team and motivating others, but I’m equally happy to work on my own and feel comfortable making important decisions.

As your Treasurer, I aim to manage the club’s finances and ensure your kit orders are supplied in a timely fashion, while also seeking potential sponsorship opportunities to help boost our club’s finances and supply new equipment/kit.

With my skills, passion and commitment to our club, I believe I am fit for the role and would love to be your Treasurer next year.
