After a long hard year of multiple lockdowns, no gyms and most importantly NO NETBALL, more than ever, I’m really looking forward to the next year of netball. We wanna come back stronger than ever, with all our teams playing the best netball they can. Working with a coach to make training as useful and effective as possible, allowing each team to focus on where their weaknesses are, is something I am extremely keen to do. Carrying on from what Gabbey has done this year with her online training sessions, I would love to also have a bigger focus on fitness and strength training, outside our weekly training sessions with our coach.

I really enjoyed helping out with 5s, 6s and Recs training in first year. One of the things I think is so great about RUMS netball is how accessible it is to everyone, which is why we have such a lovely community. Whether you just want a catch up with your friends, or a way to get to know your teammates better, I want to focus on making training whatever you feel will be most valuable for you.

During 1st year I really loved being a part of RUMS netball, and made so many friends through it. Even through lockdown, I still feel that there is such a sense of community throughout the club. I would really love to have this role, and make RUMS netball the best it can be.
