Not being able to carry out a large number of events last year as social sec, I am SEVERELY missing organising and engaging with RUMS netball girls. That is why I would love to be your Community Outreach Officer, where I'd be able to support our members, but also the wider community.

Volunteering is something I am very enthusiastic about, and would love for more members of the club to try and engage with it. From the pandemic, with many of our own members volunteering in many different settings, I think it is really important that we try to carry this forward as things start to get better.

I most look forward to running NetSchool and helping move it from an online platform to in person. Through playing in the 4s and attending many socials, I've built great rapports with many RUMS Netball girls, and feel that because of this, I could make netball a more inclusive sport, a goal I think we should strive to achieve.

During 1st and 2nd year, I've made many acquaintances with members of other rums sports (many thanks to ROXY), who I could reconnect with to organise fundraiser events to raise money for some of the charities we already support, such as Bloody Good Period.

Being part of the RUMS netball family, I am keen to help with the club's development, and am very ambitious to tackle every aspect needed, whether that is speaking to committee or members of the club and addressing any concerns.

Vote for me and hopefully we can all give back together! xx
