Hi guys I’m Will and I’d love to be Vice President of the Music Society. I’m studying history and going into my third and final year and have loved being part of the Music Society for the past two. It’s provided some of the best moments of my time at UCL. Being involved in the Chamber Choir, Symphony Chorus and Opera really made my first year, and although we haven’t been able to do too much recently, I can’t wait to get doing everything again next year.

I’d really value the opportunity that the role of Vice President would provide to give back to the society that I’ve so enjoyed being a part of. This year I’ve had the opportunity to manage the Chamber Choir, which has been a great pleasure. We were able to do some singing in September and October when I held auditions and rehearsals and organised for the group to give a Remembrance service at the beautiful St. Stephen Walbrook. I’m really looking forward to May when we’ll hopefully be able to perform at the LFCCM. I’d love to contribute further to the Society as Vice President. Music has always been a big part of my life and I’d bring that passion to the role. Thanks so much.

Hi there! I'm Riya and I'm a second-year medical student who's been part of Music Society for 2 years and on Music Soc Committee as one of the Symphony Chorus Managers this year! I've enjoyed playing cello in orchestras and singing in choirs my whole life and have loved my time in the society attending many chorus rehearsals, making some of my best friends in biscuit breaks and rehearsing for the Opera. So, I would love the opportunity to give back to the society as VP this year. I consider myself to be organised, keen and excited for the restarting of the society post-pandemic, having organised chorus rehearsals (when Covid permitting) and having had the chance to meet some of our newer members this year. Next year, I'd love to focus on helping Music Society in returning back to its excellent pre-Covid form with some BEAUTIFUL merch, concerts, trips to the pub and a banging boat ball! Looking forward to seeing you all next year xx
