Alissar Wynn
Hi, I'm Alissar and I am a second-year student studying English Literature. In my role as Vice-President, I will continue to uphold the exceptional inclusivity standards that MODO implements, and will continue to bring attention to sustainability and diversity within the society.

If elected as Vice-President I would aim to boost inclusion within the society by increasing virtual and in-person (hopefully!) social interaction between the committee and its members by hosting regular social events. I hope that these events can be as interactive as possible given the current circumstances!

The fashion industry relies heavily on establishing a wide variety of connections and as Vice-President, I would like to be able to help facilitate these interactions by introducing regular speaker events from high-profile individuals in the industry. I would love to be able to provide MODO’s members with networking opportunities by enabling access to speakers within the various career paths of the fashion industry whether that be design, journalism, styling or marketing. I believe that being able to hear from these creatives directly will be very inspiring for our members and will give them a better idea of how they can break into the fashion industry themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this position!
Erin Croasdale
Designers, models, writers and photographers – fashion gives us all a voice, and MODO is the perfect place for it to be heard. I have always loved how MODO provides an outlet for everybody interested in fashion. Fashion is an art form, a way of expressing ourselves, and the celebration of creativity and individuality at MODO has created a wonderful community that I am proud to be a part of.

I am running for Vice President this year to collaborate with members across the society. Despite the online challenges this year, I really enjoyed getting to know you all through our social events and magazine launch. I know that many members of our society are interested in working in the fashion industry post-university, so I aim to organise events, such as talks with industry experts, to help us achieve our goals. I also aim to promote inclusivity and sustainability, two of MODO’s key values, hoping that MODO can become an open forum for discourse and a platform to campaign for change.

As a dedicated member of our society, I have contributed articles to MODO magazine and held the role of Social Secretary last year, strengthening my communication and organisational skills. A writer at heart, I hope to work with our magazine’s Editor-In-Chief to take the magazine to new heights, featuring upcoming creatives and contemplating the future of fashion in our ever-changing world. I am confident that I would be perfect for the role of Vice President and would be honoured to be chosen!
