Swee Lee
My name is Swee Leng, and I am a current Year 2 undergraduate in Biomedical Sciences. I first got to know MEDLIFE during fresher's fair last year, and was deeply intrigued by what MEDLIFE does for the less advantaged in Peru and Tanzania. I have always enjoyed volunteering as it provides me with an opportunity to be able interact with people and listen to their unique experiences, while attempting to make a positive difference altogether. In the upcoming academic year, I would like to lead MEDLIFE UCL in the facilitation of our Service Learning Trip to Peru (hopefully if the situation allows!) and also organise a regular volunteering opportunity to further engage members while reinforcing the joys of volunteering. Planning and carrying out virtual society events have been more challenging this year, but I believe that circumstances will change for the better next year!

Although I have no prior experience leading a society, I will always put in my best effort to liaise with the main MEDLIFE organisation as well as other relevant parties while keeping the interest of all members in mind. I believe that I will be able to effectively lead the society and committee to make sure that all members have enjoyable experiences in their time as part of MEDLIFE UCL.

Thank you.
