Social sec will be the most important role next year.
I think being social sec in non covid times looks like a lot of fun. I really enjoy organising parties and events and making sure people have a good time. I think it would be great if we could do some joint socials with the other London med school comedy societies. If you are looking for wild and exciting socials (techno optional) then look no further.
I would also like to arrange for groups of us to go to comedy clubs. I have looked into places like Soho comedy club and there are exciting options. I think this would be a really enjoyable and productive thing for our society to do. Furthermore before corona virus I had been frequenting both the Bill Murray and the Camden head, both nearby in Islington and part of the Angel Comedy club. They regularly do free comedy nights that I’d like to organise for groups of us to attend. I will be going about once a week anyway, so this will be a casual, come when you can, affair, so for those who desire more regular social opportunities then this is your chance. Also doing football and cricket hopefully I can help cross bridges.
