Why you should vote for me as next year's publicity officer for graphic design:
1. I've had the most amazing time designing the last few years' posters. Honestly one of my med school highlights.
2. I've been getting more proficient in using photoshop each year and producing more sophisticated designs. My growing experience has taught me a lot about what looks good on a poster vs online vs in a programme and I promise to make this year's designs the best yet.
3. Having done this role for the past 2 and half years I am confident with the core responsibilities of the job and am now constantly thinking about how I can make the MDs online presence as sexy as our shows and sketches

Regardless of the AGM outcome I just wanted to say a big thanks for believing in me and making my designs feel appreciated <3

As a famous 'meme' myself, I understand the power of a good post on social media. What I mean is, Publicity Officer is a role that should not be underestimated. I have seen through Jade's insane efforts this year how important solid social media coverage and publicity is for recruitment and ticket sales. This position requires a (maybe?) underestimated degree of commitment and effort that I am absolutely prepared to deliver, and though my neurotic type A personality does predispose me to high levels of stress and burnout, it also makes me hella organised. I know from my Presidency that crafting the perfect social media post is hard, but don't worry - I have honed incredble speling adn proof-reading skills from the many self-advertisements I have shared to RUMS Facebook pages and group chats. Instagram, I have it. Facebook, I have it. Snapchat, I have it. TikTok, you betcha. BUT MY VISION DOES NOT END HERE! I hope to liaise early with the Union to organise advertisements on screens around UCL, ensure coverage in RUMS and UCL email bulletins, and foster connections with UCL magazines and journals to really get the word out. Trust me MDs - YOU WANT ME ON YOUR TEAM.
