I am standing because I enjoy communicating with people and aim to strengthen relations between MSoc and its sponsors. Hopefully, I aim to find new sponsors as well to fund the events that you would like.
Ing Tan
My name is Hann, I am a first-year Mechanical Engineering student and I running for the role of Corporate Relations Director.

Having multiple leadership roles has prepared me to execute tasks effectively and punctually, something that I would capitalize on to be a fast learner. My involvement in societies like 180 Degrees Consulting, UCL Racing Team, and GenCorporate and simultaneously not jeopardizing my academics shows that I am dedicated to my responsibilities and excel in time management. Being a consultant in 180DC, I have the experience of meeting clients and also develop personal connections with them. In addition, being a sports president in my high school has significantly improved my interpersonal and communication skills. Therefore, I believe I can leverage my experiences to build new relationships with potential sponsors and maintain strong relationships with sponsors.

If elected, I aim to:
• Secure more sponsorships and diversify society’s sponsorship portfolio by targeting a wider variety of firms from different industries such as IB, consulting, and engineering.
• Organise a wider range of events ranging from networking sessions with our sponsors to career events such as CV workshops.

I would like to make a larger contribution to society as a whole and I believe I will excel in my role as CR director with my existing skillset. Thank you for reading my manifesto.
