Sanjana Panicker
Hi! I'm Sanjana Panicker, a first year Management Science student and an aspiring entrepreneur/lawyer; and I'm running for Head of Marketing.

As a person, I'm an extrovert, organised and work well under pressure. Prior to joining UCL, I've been the Head Girl at my school in Dubai and have held several other leadership positions at other clubs such as Toastmasters Intl., Basketball school team etc. Leadership roles not only push me to perform more holistically but also allows me to make a positive change in other's lives and the system through my skills. My social skills further make me an ideal candidate.

Studying management currently and having held posts before, LMS is the perfect place for me to use my knowledge and skills. As head of marketing, I'll ensure that all events are effectively promoted through the society's social media handles. This includes creating awareness about upcoming events at LMS, improving LMS' presence on campus and showcasing recently covered society events. I will also push for more social activity through zoom socials and 24/7 group chats. I've been part of several marketing and outreach projects in school, held the post of 'Head of Events' at a charity organisation and have a good social media presence from past experience which will further aid me in this role.

Thank you for reading my manifesto and I hope y'all will give me a chance to prove my abilities. Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn or Instagram @sanjanapanicker anytime!

Having served as a marketing director in year one, I believe that I will make a good candidate for Head of marketing in the next year. In my time as the marketing director, I have worked on numerous new templates for our event posters and worked on improving the committees social media presence. All these tasks would not have been possible without the support of the LMS team and my peers whole work so tirelessly to make the committee events a huge success. Please vote for me as your new LMS Head of Marketing so that we can work together to make this year a much bigger success.
