Hi everybody! I want to become your marketing director this year. Having been the web editor, I now also want to contribute to the marketing process.
Indeed, the marketing activity goes hand-in-hand with the upload activity of my role as web editor.
It seems like a logical step to me that once an article is published our readers and contributors should be informed as soon as possible.
As marketing director, I could fluidify this process and let our readers know immediately when a new article has been uploaded.
Furthermore, besides having managed multiple Instagram accounts for the past year I also followed some online classes on digital marketing and copywriting, which i am keen to apply in the field.

Since the end of my first year, I’ve contributed to Kinesis as a writer, editor, and illustrator. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to not only share my scientific insights and interests with the UCL community, but also get to know like-minded people who share my passion for science communication! During my second year, I compiled and shared resources on relevant volunteering opportunities as Kinesis’ Community Outreach Officer.

I’m running for Marketing Officer to promote Kinesis’ issues, articles, and activities for the upcoming academic year. I hope to strengthen our social media presence by developing a unified brand identity, and by posting regular content not only about Kinesis’ work, but also about scientific updates and developments at UCL and globally. I have designed and written social media content for Labang Pangkalusugan, a youth-led Philippine healthcare organization, and COVID Care, an initiative that I launched and led over last summer. These activities have allowed me to gain skills in science communication, graphic design, and social media marketing that I hope would make me fit for the role.

I look forward both to developing accessible science content with passionate peers, and hopefully being able to share this with a wider audience as next year’s Marketing Officer!

Hi everyone!

I am Marta, a Biomedical Sciences student with an interest in the applications of new technologies in life sciences. I will be starting my second year of studies in September.

Only in the last month, I was involved in running the LSS's meeting with the Nobel Laureate Robert Lefkowitz, as well as the UCL SciCon's Pizza&PhD event. As always, a large part of that work was advertising the events, which I believe I am quite experienced at.

My interests include many areas of sciences. My work with molecular dynamics and quantum modelling during the ongoing gap year gave me great insight into the field of bioinformatics. During the last summer, I completed an internship in a stem cells lab, where I was exploring the exciting field of regenerative medicine. Our project of updateable immunity passports has won second place on "COVID Challenge", a hackathon organised in April.

I firmly believe in the power of this magazine and want as many people as possible to discover the great articles of Kinesis. As the Marketing Officer, I would make sure that the society's work is visible all over social media and on the campus.
