Throughout my time at the Investment Society, I have had the opportunity to work within many of the teams. From Mentorship, to Conference, to Outreach, I have enjoyed each role and would like to continue this holistic view of the society from the position of Treasurer.
I believe to be well suited for both the leadership and organisational roles of Treasurer as, during my three years at university I have consistently held multiple society positions, giving me experience in leadership, managing inter-societal relations and communicating with the SU. I have also led major projects such as the annual Alumni Dinner – the second largest UCLIS event – illustrating my ability to manage a range of tasks including developing a new event format, working across UCLIS teams, organising student applications and communicating with alumni.
This year has been like no other, and I will bring some of the lessons we have learnt into the next year. My financial priority will be to reintroduce in-person networking and social events, whilst making sure we continue to be as accessible to our members as possible through advancing online support. I hope to increase inter-disciplinary work between VPs, so we can learn from one another’s expertise and use this combined knowledge to help our members.
Having experienced university both in and out of lockdown, I will bring a flexible attitude so we can adapt to the conditions around us and make the most of whichever situation we find ourselves in.

Hi Everyone!
Although I’m an Engineering, I currently serve as the Director of Finance in Samaggi Samagom 120th – Student Association in the UK under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand. I have taken on various responsibilities where I worked with multi-national companies and provided internship opportunities to students via the “Careers Fair”.

I also minor in Managerial Accounting, taking part in the IEP Leadership, UCLE Bloomsbury Venture Analyst, and lead the Icarus Business Competition as CEO.

Reasons to vote for me:

I promise that the Treasurer title will be in good hands!
• Every transaction will be kept utilising Managerial Accounting knowledge
• Crystal Clear Transparency
• Past experiences in managing the society’s bank account (with a huge amount of money)
• I am HAPPY and TALKATIVE

UCLIS's small, tight knit community make it, in my opinion, the most useful society in expanding your knowledge about financial services. Yet the society attracts some of the biggest names in finance, evident by the appearances of HSBC and Goldman Sachs in the Finance Conference. I would also aim to raise the profile of the society by taking full advantage of the return of all students on campus by engaging with the local university community in order to raise funds for the society. I am a willing team member, with strong bookkeeping skills that have been developed since joining UCL.

The opportunities that will arise when all the restrictions are relaxed are tremendous, in terms of our ability to host events and fundraise. It will be a the most exciting time to be, and as treasurer would be more willing to find methods to implement any plans that other committee members might have. Ultimately, my aim as treasurer is to a dependable, reliable, candid member of the society

Having taken the "Accounting for Business" module recently, I have developed the skillest that will enable me to manage the finances of the society, and also analyse financial performance. Being involved with the M&A Group working as an analyst has prepared me well to work in a team within UCLIS
