Harry Blake
Hi, my name is Harry Blake and I am a second year natural sciences student. I am running for this position as I believe I could be useful in organising the kit next year, and I also hope to aid in the running of the club in general. My degree allows me to deal with large amounts of lab data, normally organised in excel spreadsheets, so I believe I have the skills in excel and organisation of data required for organising the kit next year. I was also the A team captain for the Ice Club this year, so I already have experience being on a committee.
Jack Beasley
I have always had a passion for hockey having played since the age of 8. I have always felt connected and understand what your local colours represent. The blue and gold colours of my old club team speak to the sense of community and pride one has for the team they play for and also what this means to the fans. I hope to use this passion and understanding to be able to create a kit that will enable a sense of togetherness and pride for the players and fans of the UCL hockey team. I captained Stourport with passion and I believe my organizational skills are also a key factor in why I would be perfect for this role as I have organised charity fundraisers for St.Richards hospice and handled the administration and organisational aspects. I believe I can use this experience to deliver a smooth and well-orginisied order and distribution of the kit.

Overall I believe my passion for hockey, the understanding of the importance of teams colours and what this represents and my organisational skills would make me an ideal candidate for the position of kit secretary.
