Sports is my biggest passion and I believe I have the leadership skills to take Hsoc sports to the next level. The job next year naturally breaks down into three components. Firstly, I want to build on what Dev has already started with the boys football team. This year, due to a lack of chemistry, the team have not been able to win matches. Next year I want to add weekly, intense sessions to help players gain both match fitness and team chemistry. Secondly, the society currently only offers football opportunities. I want to diversify into new sports and be able to offer members a wide range of sports to play and enjoy. This could include cricket and handball, and I would also like to create a community within Hsoc for the gym goers where they can share nutrition and workout tips, and naturally push each other in the gym. Thirdly, I want to really promote female participation within sports at Hsoc, since this year the society has only offered a football team for boys. Regular matches in desired sports will be made for them.

Being a part of Hindu Society this year has been very enjoyable. I believe next year will come with many amazing experiences and I would love to help better these experiences as part of the committee team. As a sports allrounder, being Welfare and Sports director would allow me to help organise and improve football and other sports events.
My organisation and approachability, having been House Captain puts me in an excellent position to help plan all types of Sports events as I did during my time at school. This also means I can be a very friendly candidate that will help anyone when and where it is needed.
I wish to accomplish an increase in the inter-society interactions through football and also any other sports that members would enjoy but also provide a point of contact for any members of the society who would like assistance. Wellbeing would be a primary focus of mine being an important aspect of the university experience.
