Hannah Crowley
Hi, I’m Hannah! I’ve been the Welfare Officer this year and I’d love to continue next year! I’m really excited for the next academic year and the events we’ll hopefully be able to do. As Welfare Officer, I want to make sure that Harry Potter Society stays a friendly, safe and inclusive environment for everyone!
Marta Sadlej
Hi everyone!

I am Marta, a Biomedical Sciences student with a special interest in the applications of new technologies in medical sciences. I will be starting my second year of studies in September.

I take Wellbeing and Mental Health very seriously, especially seing how commonly students need help in those areas. As a Welfare Officer I would actively raise awarness about the services that UCL and other bodies have to offer, so that everybody knows where to seek help.

I am currently vollunteering as a social worker, helping elderly people during the pandemic. My interests include many areas of life sciences, including bioinformatics, regenerative medicine and pharmacology, as well as movies and hiking. My favourite HP book is the Deathly Hallows, which I have read far to many times.

I am proactive in my efforts. Only in the last month, I was involved in running a meeting with the Nobel Laureate Robert Lefkowitz, as well as the UCL SciCon's Pizza&PhD event. Our project of updateable immunity passports has won the second place on "COVID Challenge", a hackathon organised in April.

Vote for me for the next Welfare Officer!
