Morgane Ohlig
Hi, I’m Morgane Ohlig, Computer Science undergraduate at UCL, and I’m aiming to become the Graphic Novels and Comics Society’s next President!

As someone who’s found herself to be rather passionate about the art and work behind comics as well as the thought and skill that serve to deliver narrative information, I believe I am a suitable candidate for this position. In addition, next year will be my second year at UCL, meaning that my workload will not be too cumbersome to prevent me from being able to dedicate a reasonable amount of time to the society. Moreover, I’m a particularly social and forward person, and can, as a result, effectively represent this society and welcome newcomers as best as I possibly can!

My aim, if I am to be elected, is to represent and maintain the society, working with the committee to bring interesting, educational and entertaining activities to the table. Moreover, as a computer scientist, I am aware of many students in the engineering department who would love to take part of a society such as this one and have simply not joined due to not knowing of its existence. As a result, being the president would be the perfect opportunity for me to encourage all kinds of students to join the society, even if they do not belong in a literary field. Therefore, I hope you’ll vote for me!
