This year I supported the German Society as Marketing & Communications director. Because of the great members and committee, I would like to stay a part of the society and continue to push the society forward next year.

I see the Vice-President and Welfare Director as someone to help the President with the society's development, support the internal communications & workings of the society and look after all members.

This year I have spent getting to know the committee, learning how the society works, and communicating a lot with the members of the society as well as other societies, I am therefore very suited for this role.

Having been a part of the society in an unusual and difficult year like this, I look forward to many face-to-face meetings, regular socials, and countless interesting events next year. I want to contribute to an exciting next year so that everyone can make the most of next year.

I would like to run for the role of Vice-President/Welfare officer of the German Society. As a third year Applied Medical Sciences student and have loved the sense of community the German Society has provided me in the past years as well as the opportunity to meet new people. This year I attended a few of the careers-oriented talks hosted by the society and though they were very interesting and presented great opportunities.
I was events secretary and treasurer of the Muay Thai Club in my second and third year respectively and educational officer for the Integrated Medical Sciences society this year as well. Therefore I have a good sense of what is means to be part of a committee. I am organised and conscientious in my work and love working in a team with other committee members. I would be very grateful for the chance to help lead the German Society and as such to become more involved in it. I am also a caring and empathetic person and would ensure that the welfare of society members is not forgotten.
