Máté Veczel
Hi, my name is Máté, and after spending the past year as a First-Year Representative at the society, I am running for Treasurer. Having the opportunity to participate in the society at the Research Department, I gained a thorough insight into how the society works, and I hope to bring even more events and opportunities for members in the upcoming year.

I joined the FinTech Society as it provides the opportunity to gain knowledge in finance and technological progress, thus keeping members up to date in two sectors. As we started the UCL Finance & Technology Review, I had the pleasure to work with numerous correspondents, during which I experienced the true diversity of the society and the importance of a reliable and enthusiastic team, which I aspire to build for next year.

As Treasurer, I aim to increase the engagement of the society through networking events and (hopefully) informal gatherings with the members. Also, my focus will be to continue the Future of Finance Conference to bring You relevant information about the industry through speakers, and potentially help you prepare for applications via a mentorship program.

I hope to make the FinTech Society a community where everyone can gain outside-the-lecture knowledge while diving more into the everyday life of UCL.

**VOTE CLINTON FOR YOUR TREASURER**

WHO ARE YOU?
Hello everyone, my name is Clinton. I am a first-year PhD student and First-year Rep at UCL Fintech Society. I have also worked as a quantity surveyor to handle the finance and contracts for construction projects.

WHY YOU?
This year I will run for Treasurer.
• Being a treasurer, I will keep an eye on SU's most updated regulations and rules due to Covid-19 and ensure UCL Fintech Society will comply with them.
• Working closely with the President, I will make sure the required documents and forms will be submitted on time for different purposes.
• Internally, I will also ensure a fair allocation of the fund within the society (grant and non-grants) to defend our members and the committee's interest.
• Externally, I will be responsive to the external sponsors in terms of any queries. When our sponsors have a good customer experience, they will most likely come back to us in the future.

WHAT DO I EXPECT OUT OF YOU?
My goal is simple, to finance UCL Fintech society well and make it a fantastic Society internally and externally. Vote for ME, and I am sure that YOU can get the best out of this society. Vote for ME, and I will defend YOUR interest and the best return of your every penny.

VOTE FOR ME, VOTE FOR YOUR MONEY

Ya-Hsuan Wang
Being a first-year student studying Economics and Statistics, I would like to devote myself to the UCL FinTech society as a Treasurer.

Being an account manager at Uber enterprise, I was allowed to utilise my business analysis skill with the well-presented communication strategies when serving as a project leader in the onshore project in Taiwan.

As a product development specialist in TransferHelper, I have experienced multiple tasks when simulating the MVP model of our financial product aiming at optimising the transferring process in terms of the international migrants' realms.

Serving as a finance part-time associate at Beiersdorf (NIVEA), I am able to penetrate into the core of financial analysis and therefore fully utilise my data-analysis skill.

Furthermore, I am currently serving as the treasurer of the UK Taiwanese society. Overall, I am keen to communicate with teammates and enjoy the sense of accomplishment when completing the tasks with the team. I am able to maintain the sustainability of the budget but meanwhile trying to innovate with the practical new pathways of earnings.

My numerical and detail-oriented skills obtained from the previous experience have equipped me for being competent for this role.I would like to commit to the society using my professional knowledge. If you also want to take a leap, please vote for me.
