I am a first-year PhD student focusing on climatology. This year as the elected Head of Research, I have shown passion, which has led to huge improvements for YOUR Policy Research and Networking skills. I will continue showing what is possible as YOUR UCL EuH President!

WHAT I WILL ACHIEVE AS YOUR PRESIDENT!
•Boost our member numbers from 74 to 300 members by increasing our outreach network and marketing promotion among UCL students so that YOU can make the most out of our extensive network at UCL.
•Ensure we have the BEST Fresher’s Week at UCL and opportunities are widely promoted.
•Provide more career guidance and opportunities to OUR MEMBERS by organising more career panels and inviting companies, institutions and NGOs.
•Develop an all-inclusive programme of policy research workshops tailored to OUR MEMBERS' diversity: politics, legal, business, medical and scientific.
•Recruit Executives to different divisions to help better execution and ideas generation. Let YOU write YOUR achievement and contribution to your CVs.
•Create a feedback channel for YOU to voice your feedback anytime to our committee members.

•Tailor-made more than 2 policy research workshops per term.

1. Introduce new event formats
--> Continue talks, panel discussions, workshops, and Q&A events
--> Combining an online approach with in-person events
--> Collaborative events with societies from UCL and other universities

2. Increase the society’s career-related value
--> Organise competitions in collaboration with other societies and companies
--> Set up, and increase engagement with, a UCL European Horizons alumni network
--> Career panels and insights with professionals in the public policy industry

3. Fostering a community
--> Emphasis on engaging and fun social events
--> Establish an inclusive community and celebrate our diversity
