Lorenzo Donatelli
I'm Lorenzo Donatelli, a 1st PPE student here at UCL =). I'm running for the Head of Events position because I think that this role fits with my personality and my background.

I'm really passionate about European Affairs and I lately started to write (or at least tried to) policy memos on international affairs. I really enjoy organising events and discussing philosophical concepts. I love playing football as a goalie, drinking beers and hiking, too.

During this year, I have been working for the NGO European Horizons as a Policy Liaison for Europe and Asia, where I am:
•Charged with improving the communication between the NGO and the 60+ university chapters across 15+ countries
•Charged with organizing policy panel and competitions regarding European and transatlantic affairs (First round judge for the EUHPC2021)
•Author of the Weekly Policy Brief "Guinea Pirates: A European Maritime Mission for West-Africa"

In 2018-19, I had the honour to be elected as School president in my high school, where I was charged with organising school activities (50+ conferences and debates)

-Career events (I have already contacted Luca Perego, head of unit at directorate general education)
-More communication between the UCL chapter and the NGO (My role at the NGO)
-Policy memos related events (training and creation of teams for the EUH Policy competitions)
-Collaboration with other Chapters (Yale, KCL, Amsterdam)
-Have fun!
