Thienthorn Sutdhikulpaisarl
Hi Everyone!
I’m an Engineering who currently serves as the Director of Finance in Samaggi Samagom 120th – Student Association in the UK under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand. I have taken on various responsibilities where I worked with multi-national companies and provided internship opportunities to students via the “Careers Fair”.

I also minor in Managerial Accounting, taking part in the IEP Leadership, UCLE Bloomsbury Venture Analyst, and lead the Icarus Business Competition as CEO.

Reasons to vote for me:

I promise that the Treasurer title will be in good hands!
• Every transaction will be kept utilising Managerial Accounting knowledge
• Crystal Clear Transparency
• Past experiences in managing the society’s bank account (with a huge amount of money)
Anda-Raluca Epure
As a Mathematics and Economics student, I enjoy problem-solving activities and strategically managing given resources in the most efficient way. Being a treasurer in my Hall’s Association helped me understand how the financial resources should be assigned in order to support all the events and initiatives. Accustomed to the way of maintaining accurate reports and scheduling funds, I think that I could help the society achieve its goals and provide the members with an unforgettable experience. As a Treasurer, I would search for more sponsorship or maybe partnership so as the society can grow and take part in larger scale events. It would be amazing to contribute to the organization of the initiatives along with the President. I would also like to create more connections with other societies, so as the members can have more chances to extend their networking group, but also their knowledge in different related sectors. Finally, I would evaluate the current situation and think of creative solutions for growing, developing, in order to shape the society according to the members’ liking.
Agustin Mengoni
As a former Sponsorship Executive, it felt only right that I follow up the success of this year, 13 sponsors (FT500, startups, etc.), over £10,000 raised, a plethora of career-ralted events, and fruitful relationships with members of industry. However, I am aware that we are yet to scratch the surface of our potential as a society, given the vast possibilities available to us once we go back to seeing each other in person, which is why I want to carry on. I have formed great friendships within the committee and look forward to transitioning to another year along them and newcomers, who will be driven by our desire to get things done as was the case this year.

I can guarantee you that I have already begun making sure all the events the Class of 2022 has experienced come back, along with many more, and give you the possibility to catch up on you missed experiences. Lastly, I feel that despite our successful year we lacked what gives the Engineering Society its value: the ability to connect students from across all Engineering disciplines and beyond, through our various face-to-face socials, our events with industry, hackathon and lots more to make sure everyone within the faculty of Engineering feels they have a society where they can find themselves challenged intellectually and find people they can relate to.

Vote for Agustin, Vote for someone with experience and who knows how to finance the best events your UCL experience can offer.
Karen Chave
As the treasurer of UCLES, I am excited to support and work with the team in creating an all-rounded, fun and inclusive society in ways that will ensure long term financial viability. Being a first year representative, I earned insights of the responsibilities that come with every position and understood the importance of taking initiative and managing risk to achieve set objectives.

Having previously lived in China, Malaysia and Spain, I have grown to really enjoy listening to new ideas and meeting different people from different backgrounds. I believe this is key in creating a team spirit dynamic where collaboration encourages camaraderie and creativity.

I cannot wait to start working with the team, whether it may be planning and budgeting, organizing fundraising events or business partnering. Cooperating with the event planner, I will partner with a wide variety of organizations to arrange a series of social events as soon as the lockdown is lifted. My ideas range from summer yoga and BBQ evenings to the Tower Bridge Engineering Tour to live music nights and pub crawls. I will do my best to promote the idea of unity as I believe that increased social interaction is essential in creating a sense of togetherness and in building trust. I will also raise funds through sponsorships and fundraising events such as releasing UCLES customized hoodies and sweatpants.

I am super excited to meet all of you and turn our ideas and visions into reality!

Hello all! My name is HD, a mechanical engineering running for treasurer of Engineering Society! My previous involvement in the Society includes being part of the Events team, where my role was to reach out to people in the industry to bring you insightful talks and sessions with the likes of Mercedes AMG HPP and more. Being part of the society gave me a sense of community and belonging and I wish to further my experience and extend it to our members.

As treasurer of the society, I would primarily be responsible for the finances of the society. I will be in charge of managing grant's, sponsorship and other streams of income and expense for the society's activities. In this role, I want to bring to you the best possible events with the financial backing they deserve. Opportunity is the key to securing your future internship or landing an interview at a big firm and our members deserve to have a wide range of events, talks and seminars; all impossible without the correct financial backing.

I think I am well suited to this role as I have experience dealing with the union, sponsors and others. I have experience as Treasurer at UCL Food Society, where I am reaching out to many sponsors and businesses to secure funding and discounts for the society. Also as President of one of UCL's largest Art's societies in 2020/21, I have liaised with the union on many points and am familiar with obtaining grants and financial system.

Thank you!
