Hi! I’m Diane, a statistics student and I aim to be EFS’s new Marketing Vice-President!

I believe I have the capacities to excel in that position. Indeed, as a First-Year Representative for the UCL Statistics Society, I worked in the marketing of social and career-oriented events, merchandises and weekly readings. This significant experience was the continuation of my previous position as Head of Marketing for the Oratoria 2019-2020 Eloquence contest.

I will strive to improve the key society that is the Economics and Finance Society by
- Growing Social Medias with events reminders, weekly career tips and opportunities to ensure career success
- Making the EFS Website a Staple of the society to improve its reputation and facilitate the experience of EFS members.
-Promoting and offering insight into events to ensure you are not missing out on any fun social or important discussions.
- Creating a monthly newsletter made out of future events, updates on the website and career opportunities to guarantee your best chances in the world of finance.

To conclude, I would love to further elevate the Society to unmissable. I long to continue the legacy of UCL EFS in helping students towards their dream work.

I’m applying for the role of VP of Marketing with the goal of further diversifying the society in terms of the students that get involved, the companies that we partner with, and the society’s reputation.

I plan on achieving an even more diverse society through consistently producing content for social media advertising upcoming opportunities, and spreading finance, current affairs and application related content. I hope to widen participation across all degree disciplines, by providing content for students with all levels of experience.

I intend on working closely alongside the Events and CR divisions to advertise events and initiatives sufficiently, to ensure attendance reaches its highest potential. Similarly, I’d love to collaborate to produce a more holistic range of events in all sectors of finance, ensuring we equip students with the skills they need to pursue any finance-related career.

I have extensive experience in Canva, having used it on my gap-year internship at Accenture and in my role as CR Exec in the FinTech society. I believe that my graphic design, time-management and collaboration skills will enable me to be a successful Marketing VP, and I’m excited to see the growth that EFS can achieve next year!
